Programming exec Blaney was behind one of the biggest movie deals of the year – USA’s licensing of Universal Pictures hits including “Bridesmaids,” “Fast Five,” “Little Fockers” and more than 30 others. In addition, the films will have the opportunity to run across other NBCU platforms, and networks. She also negotiated groundbreaking deals for off-network series including “NCIS: Los Angeles” and a little comedy called “Modern Family.” Blaney is all about loyalty. “I’ve been at USA since 1980 – when it all began,” she says. “Back then people didn’t stick any one company for more than a couple of years – I was the exception.”
