The N.J.-based Aricent Group has added OpenFlow and Software Defined Networking (SDN) software frameworks and services to its wireline communications portfolio; OpenFlow Client software and product lifecycle services help telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs) deliver the next-generation of OpenFlow and SDN products. OpenFlow reportedly provides the foundation for SDN, and its architecture is helping to drive adoption of these new networking standards and concepts.
