VidScale, a provider of carrier-class content delivery network (CDN) services, federated transparent caching and bandwidth optimization for the cable, mobile and ISP markets, has been selected and deployed by Avail-TVN to provide key functionality for the company’s AnyView multiplatform, multiscreen video service.

Avail-TVN’s white label, multi-screen video solution for service providers, AnyView, will extend and enhance the traditional video-on-demand and linear television experience for end-user customers using IP-connected devices including PCs and Macs, and for mobile consumer electronics such as Apple iOS, Roku and Android devices.

VidScale’s MediaWarp software met the stringent deployment and scalability requirements for carrier-grade technology required by Avail-TVN. VidScale’s architecture integrates CDN and bandwidth optimization functionality in one component, and can be quickly and easily deployed.

Vidscale’s MediaWarp software is used by mobile and cable operators, and ISPs who want to manage and deliver licensed and/or unlicensed rich media across their networks.
