TiVo has made available FrameChannel, a new application for any broadband connected TiVo DVR to bring personalized content from the Web to the TV. TiVo users can now personalize the delivery of local news, weather and sports, as well as updates from social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr onto their TV. The FrameChannel application also allows users to customize their information feed with RSS links. FrameChannel adds to the content already available on the TiVo service, combining cable, movies, Web and music into one box.

FrameChannel is available immediately on broadband connected TiVo Series2, Series3, TiVo HD, and Premiere DVRs.
