Following a recent Rovi Smart TV Field Trial, Rovi Corporation and Sony Electronics have launched Rovi Advertising Service on connected Sony Bravia TVs in the United States. Under this new relationship, Rovi will sell and deliver advertising to the latest line of connected Sony Bravia TVs.

The recent Rovi Smart TV Field Trial explored new and emerging advertising opportunities on TVs and other devices connected to the Internet. Rovi Advertising Network reaches more than 30 million homes, and Rovi Advertising Service enables consumer electronics manufacturers to incorporate advertising on their devices and monetize their offerings.
