Sigma Systems announced today that it participated in five live demonstrations for Advanced Advertising last week at the CableLabs Advanced Advertising Interop, including interactive Request for Information (RFI), addressable linear, interactive telescoping, dynamic Video On Demand (VOD), and VOD overlays.

Sigma Systems, in conjunction with several partners, participated in five of the six use cases demonstrated to CableLabs Advanced Advertising Interop attendees during Demo Day on Nov. 12 in Louisville, CO. The demonstrations showed how Sigma Systems’ Subscriber Information Service (SIS) is a key enabling component for audience qualification for these use cases which utilized PRIZM data provided by data integration partner Nielsen Claritas and other subscriber-related data.

As part of the demonstrations and use case testing that followed in the lab operated by CableLabs, Sigma Systems showed its interoperability with several current partners–including ARRIS, BlackArrow, Cisco, FourthWall Media (formerly BIAP), Motorola, OpenTV, and This Technology–as well as new partners Ensequence, Strategy & Technology, and TANDBERG Television, Part of the Ericsson Group.

Sigma Systems’ Subscriber Information Service (SIS) helps to enable addressable advertising by collecting subscriber-related data and providing the SCTE 130 SIS interface needed to access the data for audience qualification.
