According to Cablefax’s week in review of media and telecom stocks for the week of April 4, SeaChange’s share price tumbled 30.29% last week to $3.82 after the company abruptly removed CEO Jay Samit and replaced him with Edward Terino, who joined the company last year as COO. It’s the second time in two years that there’s been a change at the helm. More details here. Another losing stock last week was Avid Technology, which fell 10.21% to a $5.98 share price. The stock has fallen 17.97% year-to-date and has received negative earnings estimate revisions recently. As for the winners, it was a relatively flat week. But Sony did come out on top with a 4.66% increase to close at $26.07 a share. See the full chart of winners and losers below.
