HBO will launch its streaming service – HBO GO – on the Roku platform, expected to be available on all Roku streaming players at the end of October. HBO GO is available at no additional cost to HBO customers who subscribe through a participating television provider.

With the addition of programming from HBO, Roku now features more than 300 entertainment channels including Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Pandora and Angry Birds. Recently launched channels include Disney.com, AOL HD and FoxNews.com.
