Version 3.50 of Envivio’s on-demand transcoding software, Envivio Muse On-Demand, offers “significant improvements” in file-to-file transcoding speed, the company says, as much as 35 percent in internal testing against platforms that require hardware acceleration…Next month, wireless-tower provider O2 Secure Wireless Inc. will begin a 60-day test of new wireless broadband equipment on its recently completed fiber backhaul installation at the corporate retail location in Palm Coast.
