Motorola announced that its 2247-62 Netopia ADSL2+ Wireless Voice Integrated Access Device Gateway has received Calix certification for both video and data.

The gateway is designed to support service providers’ delivery of high-speed data, VoIP, high-definition IPTV and VOD services to subscribers. It is also equipped with a built-in wireless access point that allows users to access the Internet from anywhere in their home or small business.

The 2247-62 combines an ADSL2+ modem, advanced QoS, LAN distribution, a four port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch, an 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi radio, and an RJ-11 telephony port into one compact device.
