More than 50 percent of U.K. viewers followed the 2012 Olympics on several devices simultaneously and used social networking sites during Games. According to Intersperience research, 10 percent of participants in its survey used three or more devices to keep up with the action. Facebook was accessed the most, with 95 percent using it to share Olympics facts and opinions; only 18 percent used Twitter.
