ARRIS has announced its participation at this year’s Cable Congress to be held in Lucerne, Switzerland, February 15-17. For the second year in a row, ARRIS will be the exclusive technology provider for the Cable Europe Broadband Village, a demonstration area featuring the converged customer services of tomorrow delivered via cable. This year’s Broadband Village will reveal a vision of cable’s personalized, multi- screen, whole home customer experience for cable operators, regulators and Congress attendees.

In Cable Europe’s Broadband Village, ARRIS will display the in-home cable and Internet service experience of the future, featuring its whole home solution with Media Gateway delivering triple play cable services as well as a wide variety of over-the-top services from the Internet. Additionally, ARRIS will demonstrate a Web-based, multi-screen user experience that delivers content of choice to the consumer’s device of choice while generating new revenue opportunities via targeted advertising. These applications will be enabled through the ARRIS ConvergeMedia Management suite and XMS video distribution system and the Whole Home Gateway and Media players.
