Court Rejects FCC’s Party Ad Rate Rule
A federal appeals court granted a Petition for Review of a March FCC Media Bureau Public Notice that said broadcasters were obligated to give their Lowest Unit Rates not only to political candidates and their campaign committees, but also joint fundraising committees and candidate-coordinated political party ads.
