At an investor conference in NYC Wednesday, Discovery Comm CEO David Zaslav discussed the implications of the Charter/TWC merger, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Among the pluses: greater rollout of TV Everywhere, which is something Zaslav has said is needed in the industry today and would be beneficial for content companies. A concern for Zaslav is the fact that another big player will exist. He also talked Nielsen measurement inadequacies, the possibility of creating a global science app and the company’s global growth.
