She Says… “Successful ERGs focus on business-critical matters with a balance of social networking and community building across the company that results in both professional development opportunities and personal growth.”

Bucket list travel destination? Hawaii and Japan. It was too difficult to choose so I chose each of my favorites for domestic and international travel.

What makes for a successful Employee Resource Group? I believe a successful Employee Resource Group is one in which the leaders and members feel seen and have a voice in important issues and concerns relative to distinct dimensions of identity in which the ERG is formed. Successful ERGs focus on business-critical matters with a balance of social networking and community building across the company that results in both professional development opportunities and personal growth.

Who has kicked down a door for you? Too many to name, more than I probably know of, and many more who I hope will continue to kick a down a door for me just as I hope to do the same for many others. I do believe the shared attribute is someone who believes in me and those that are always willing to advocate, sponsor, and support my personal growth and professional success.
