Tanya Lopez

Lifetime and big, buzzy original movies are synonymous, thanks to the tireless efforts of Lopez to attract top talent. Her movie “Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart” was the highest-rated program for the network in 2016 and the highest rated movie on all of cable, and she moved triumphantly into 2017 with successes “Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland” and “Beaches.” To boot, Lopez has been instrumental in the net’s Broad Focus initiative, ensuring women are hired to write, produce and direct content for Lifetime. She recently helped seal the collaboration between Lifetime and NeueHouse Madison Square Women’s Forum on a screening panel of a slate of Lifetime films.
