Sarah Barnett

We can’t think of anyone better to run BBC America than Sarah Barnett, whose dedication to excellence has catapulted the net in recent years to a level of respect and prominence few networks can match. Whether it’s critically acclaimed thrillers like “Orphan Black” or epic non-fiction masterpieces like “Planet Earth,” Barnett has never shied away from taking chances and swinging for the fences. This year has been a particularly good one for Barnett as original scripted series “Killing Eve” has blossomed into a major TV hit destined to get even bigger. Before BBC America, Barnett also transformed Sundance TV into a watercooler-worthy home for smart, scripted dramas. So yeah… we’re sensing a pattern here. Her induction into our TV Hall of Fame couldn’t be better timed.
