Under Martinez’s leadership, Comcast established itself as Houston’s largest ISP, increased the speeds of Xfinity Internet service for nearly all Houston customers, and helped to expand the company’s state-of-the art fiber optic network and coax infrastructure. Martinez is an executive who believes strongly in celebrating diversity and inclusion, with the Houston region’s annual Hispanic Hero Awards and Mayor’s History Maker Awards becoming signature events for the company. Last year, he received the Corporate Citizenship award in recognition of his commitment to diversity, social responsibility and education from the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans.
