When Newman’s manager exited INSP in late 2019, she became the sole person to oversee digital content and all of INSP’s email campaigns. As a coordinator, Newman quickly took on the role and responsibilities of a director-level position, leading to her promotion to senior coordinator. She runs day-to-day management of the website, including digital content and product, and keeps busy looking for ways to optimize SEO and manage the digital and email editorial calendar. During the pandemic she led the charge on an INSP first: VOD streaming. Newman only had a month to make seven seasons of content available in a streaming format, coordinating across multiple departments. And her hard work paid off. Now, INSP.com saw over 8x the amount of traffic, and about 87% of folks visiting the site consumed video within the video player Newman helped create. She says the creation is the proudest moment of her career. “We brought something new, fresh and exciting to our users during a year when they needed it most, and for that I am so proud,” she says.
