Comcast’s Beltway Region has flourished in the years since McLaughlin became its fearless leader in 2015—and 2019 was no different. The region received the Innovative Practice or Partnership award at the 2019 Prince William Chamber of Commerce Business Awards as well as the Corporate Philanthropy Award from the Greater Washington Urban League. McLaughlin preaches passion, ownership and excellence, and she often takes to Twitter to offer up or retweet words of self-love and inspiration for women in the workplace. She’s a proud resident of Baltimore, serves on the University of Maryland Medical Center board of directors and was named a 2019 “Influential Marylander” by the Maryland Daily Record.
