TV5MONDE USA partnered with the Camden International Film Festival to launch “TV5MONDE Maine Heritage Film Grant,” a documentary filmmaker grant competition highlighting Francophone culture in Maine through the eyes of local filmmakers. In addition to bestowing a $15,000 grant, the initiative highlights the French language and culture that permeates Maine’s history, food, art and heritage (more than 25% of the population is of French origin, the highest in the U.S.) and increased awareness about TV5MONDE’s programming available across Maine on Spectrum.
