During the past year, Suniewick oversaw NBCU’s collaborations with digital partners including Snapchat and the launch of parenting channel Playfull with Buzzfeed. She’s also built out the company’s Digital Lab, the studio that produces Snapchat Shows based on existing NBCU franchises in addition to original concepts. Suniewick and her team also kicked off an editorial and marketing partnership with Refinery29, which co-created On Her Turf, a new digital brand launched during the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. Additionally, Suniewick oversaw NBCU’s minority investment in the wedding planning and commerce startup Zola. Moving forward, look for her to continue developing promotional and commercial partnership opportunities across the NBCU portfolio. These expansive relationships highlight the way she continues to think innovatively and take risks in a growing marketplace.
