Kathy Zachem

Zachem is Comcast’s voice inside the beltway, advocating before the FCC and other regulatory bodies to ensure the issues that affect media and connectivity companies are being heard. But she’s not just an advocate for Comcast’s interests. Empowering young women, including teenagers, is a huge priority to Zachem, who was honored with the Crittenton Services of Greater Washington 2018 Leadership Award for her work. She helped foster a connection between Comcast and the organization while also personally giving back. She’s also serves on the board of the Washington Tennis & Educational Foundation, and takes personal pride in its after-school program for kids. Her charity extends to the workplace, where she often shares her personal experience with new working moms and advises recent college grads on career planning.
