Kerr expertly steers more than 1,000 field operations employees serving 1.3 million customers, and she’s been actively leading Charter’s rural expansion in eastern North Carolina. Last year, Kerr took home the Carol A. Hevey Award from The WICT Network Carolinas. It’s the organization’s highest award, recognizing pioneering women occupying positions that were traditionally held by men. Her passion for mentoring is unmatched as she helps not only her direct reports reach their long-term goals, but also her network of mentees in the U.S. and abroad. If given the opportunity to host her dream dinner party, Kerr would use the occasion to bring her extended family together around one table. “As an immigrant, most of my family still lives back home in Scotland, my brother lives in the Middle East, and my wife’s family lives in Brazil,” she says. “My dream dinner party would be one where all of us could be together.”
