Yoo is still a relative newcomer to Google, having joined the company in June. That doesn’t mean she’s a newcomer to the industry, however. She spent more than eight years as svp of corporate development at Scripps Networks before making the move. Beyond making change through her professional roles, she works in her free time to empower Asian-American youth. She served as an honorary co-chair of the 26th Anniversary Inspiration Awards Gala for Apex for Youth, an organization that supports underserved Asian and immigrant youth in NY by recruiting volunteers to be positive role models for them.
