
Yoo has been a driving force behind Scripps’ growth in recent years, including the company’s acquisition of Polish media powerhouse TVN, its investment in popular online destination Refinery29 and, most recently, the acquisition of Spoon University. She’s also something of a renaissance woman, with a wide range of hobbies including skiing, classical opera and cooking. Heading into 2018, Yoo anticipates the importance of data will continue to grow. “Data capability will become more important as a way to differentiate monetization and content curation strategies,” she says.
