While Salke drove an arsenal of buzzy originals this past year, Cheng fostered partnerships with most of the industry’s streaming content providers and worked with all major studios to release programming—“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” and “Oppenheimer” among them—in their downstream windows. Cheng also continues to expand the Prime Video family, like adding anime hot spot Crunchyroll this past year, as well as to drive growth through live sports coverage. In 2023 “Thursday Night Football” helped deliver 24% in-season viewership growth year-over-year.
