Tang runs Bravo and Oxygen’s financial oversight, including the development of both network’s strategic and long-range plans. She serves as a mentor for many people who aspire to be financial leaders within the cable industry, and is a passionate Smith College alum who encourages new graduates to pursue finance positions. Tang once considered becoming an economist, and interned at the White House during the Clinton administration. She’s inspired by Michelle Obama, saying “I love a smart, well-spoken and well-dressed woman.”

What’s been the most dramatic change in your sector of the business today vs. three years ago?
A bigger focus on diversity in front of and behind the camera. While I have not necessarily seen a dramatic change yet, I am encouraged by the conversation.
