The Why? Fan is a champion for diverse storytelling, and it’s evident in the programming she helps steward. She was instrumental in the development of “Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion,” which premiered in June and follows a crime-fighting Mexican-American teenager. Fan has attended film festivals from Guadalajara, Mexico, to Goa, India, and is involved in the Disney Executive Incubator, Disney Mentorship, Color Entertainment Mentorship and BIPOC Writers Fellowship.
