Shibata is responsible for the financial performance and strategic analysis for one of the industry’s largest and most diverse cable portfolios, which includes USA Network, Syfy, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, Universal Kids, and two Hollywood studios—Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios. With an eye always on evaluating M&A activities and new business partnerships in both traditional and digital media spaces, she also oversees the development and growth of the group’s strategic business initiatives, and plays a key role in identifying potential new business opportunities and partnerships. Of late, Shibata played a key role in the negotiation and renewal of WWE Raw on USA.
