Bela Bajaria

Bajaria reached new heights at Netflix in September when she took on oversight of the service’s original series around the globe. She’s wasted no time making her own mark at the streaming giant, putting into place structural changes that will de-silo programming development. Bajaria has long worked to boost underrepresented communities and foster young talent. While working at Universal Television, Bajaria greenlit series like “The Mindy Project,” the first major show created by a woman of South Asian descent. She also oversaw the development and production of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Master of None.”
