The Leadership Academy that Mantilla helped roll out last September is the latest addition to A+E Networks’ commitment to providing employees with opportunities to thrive in an inclusive environment. She also seeks opportunities for diverse employees to partake in development programs but most importantly, she actively listens to employees and solicits honest feedback.

What roadblocks have you overcome when it comes to DEI? The roadblock I overcame regarding DEI is the misconception that Latin people look a certain way and are all from one part of the world and not understanding that there is diversity within the Hispanic community.
