When Lynch was appointed to her position last year, she said she wanted to explore the ways Comcast could bring value to its customers and also contribute to local communities. She accomplished the former last September by offering new internet service speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second to residential customers. Lynch succeeded with the latter by encouraging more than 150 employees to volunteer at a local elementary school for the annual Comcast Cares Day in April.
