As Cablevision’s SVP, controller and principal accounting officer at the time it was purchased by Altice, Mink played a key role in making the transition as smooth as possible. Her ability to find middle ground and build consensus across the expanding company served her quite well during the past year. No wonder she says the growth of Altice USA was the biggest story in cable. “Bringing together a global company with Suddenlink and Cablevison in such a dynamic way is a great reflection on of how we do business with a strong focus on innovation, investment and technology to provide a high quality experience,” she says.

 

What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?

Work hard and you will succeed.

Which current programming best reflects the kind of women’s roles you like to see and why?

During this election cycle, and in such a public forum, the cable news networks have shown a strong female influence. It is nice to see the balance of talent reflected in such a public way.

 

What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?

The development and growth of Altice USA. Bringing together a global company with Suddenlink and Cablevison in such a dynamic way is a great reflection on of how we do business with a strong focus on innovation, investment and technology to provide a high quality experience.
