Marts landed her first job in cable in 1985, working her way through the ranks as an installer, service technician, systems tech and digital services supervisor. By 2000, as a proven leader in the cable tech industry, she rapidly excelled to her current role as director of video engineering for Cox. The biggest challenge facing the industry: “It seems like a product can be outdated before I get a chance to get it implemented. The biggest challenge is trying to stay ahead of the curve,” she recently told CableFAX.
