To support its friend and colleague Craig Sager’s battle with leukemia, Turner Sports partnered with The Sagerstrong Foundation to raise awareness and money for the battle against the disease. As Craig underwent aggressive treatment, segments on TNT’s popular “Inside the NBA” regularly promoted the hashtag, which was picked up across press, players and fans in support of one of Basketball’s broadcasting legends. Unfortunately he succumbed to the disease in 2016, but the campaign continues to raise money for the cause.
