As technology evolves, Jones, who commands emerging technologies for Turner, notes that her greatest challenge is determining which digital platforms to invest in now vs. which to stage for the future. “It changes constantly,” she says. Being on multiple platforms is complex technically and financially, she notes, “and tradeoffs and bets have to be made. Today, it’s obvious that we need to be on iOs and Android, but this wasn’t readily apparent even one year ago.”

FCC to Vote on C-Band Auction Rules
