Cornileus leads all ESPN efforts to develop, train and educate employees. Her work makes a direct impact on improving growth opportunities for women and minorities in the industry. In particular, through her work with the ESPN Engage! Series, she has brokered deals with renowned authors, journalists, speakers and topical experts to appear at ESPN’s Bristol, CT, campus. Of the skills that Cornileus has cultivated over time and that she believes have enabled her to be successful, she says, “Certainly, the ability to build strategic relationships is essential.”
