Corporate Social Responsibility/Green Campaign | TLC – Say Yes to the Prom

TLC’s Say Yes to the Prom completed its sixth year in March 2016 with its most impactful run yet. The initiative, designed to make prom more accessible to high school students while fostering mentoring opportunities and enhancing self-confidence, gave makeovers to more than 300 students across the country. For the first time this year, young men participated in addition to young women. And it’s capped off with a runway-style reveal. Also new were additional education components, including partnerships with The Emma Bowen Foundation, Miami Dade College and the Montgomery College Foundation to place participants in internships in the media industry.
