Maitra oversees TiVo’s broadband content strategy as well as its interactive advertising and audience research sales efforts. Effectively, she manages both sides of the DVR coin. On the content side, she works closely with networks, studios, Web-based providers and other programmers to build out TiVo’s stable of linear, VOD and broadband offerings. On the media sales side, Maitra and her team provide brand marketers with viewing data and commercial ratings to help optimize media buying. She also oversees TiVo’s interactive advertising strategy – a key component in viewer engagement in the fast-forward world TiVo pioneered.
