Marketing of a New Series or Show | Syfy – The Expanse

The helpful thing about creating a show about a book series? There’s a built-in fan base. But it can also be a deterrent for more casual, less-inundated fans. So to engage those fans, Syfy had a presence at Comic-Con with a panel, a screening, and an on-the-ground activation dubbed “The Expanse Café.” The latter entailed a takeover of a restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel completely rebranded with wall murals, a customized dining experience and demos of Syfy’s first-ever virtual reality app, Expanse VR.
