In nine years at E!, Kolb was key in cementing E!’s popularity among upscale, tech-savvy females. Kolb’s 2012 E! Online update still reaps rewards, including a record-high 30 million multiplatform unique visitors this March. It’s uncertain what’s next for this exec, but Kolb tells us that “the only way to achieve any type of balance is to have a clear head. The only way to get a clear head is to take a break once in a while.”

How can cable do better job at supporting the industry’s women?

Encourage mentorship and opportunities for women of all corporate levels to interact. The seasoned can guide the newbies and the newbies can inspire the seasoned. Everyone wins.

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?
