In 2012, Cablefax honored Wave Broadband with its Independent Operator of the Year Award, noting Wave’s ongoing pledge to customer service and dedication to making sure there’s a great group of people working both at customer service centers and in the field. Fittingly, Weed, Friedman and Schattenkerk were on hand to accept the accolade. Three years later, the three still complement each other, which leads to maximum effectiveness. Schattenkerk brings financial expertise and a focus on the customer to his position. Weed recently signed a letter of intent regarding Wave’s interest in taking over operations of the struggling Click. Friedman, who rounds out the trio, is known for his tireless work regarding raising the visibility of retransmission consent overhaul. Synergy at its finest.
