Paulus is responsible for the operations of New York State’s 24-hour cable news channels, including NY1 News and NY1 Noticias, Albany’s Capital News 9, Syracuse’s News 10 Now, Rochester’s R News, Buffalo’s YNN Buffalo and Texas’ News 8 Austin. In addition to maintaining the stations’ journalistic quality, he has created and evaluated programming, marketing and branding. He brokers deals and decides which news programs will be distributed nationally across Time Warner Cable systems.
