Vootukuru is such a well-regarded leader that her promotion was hailed at all levels of the company. She headed up the operations team that launched SlingTV, the first OTT MVPD service in the United States, yet lauds her colleagues instead of herself. Random acts of kindness inspire me all the time. And I am inspired by my team’s work ethic every day. It pushes me to do more and be a better role model for them.

Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Prioritization and communication are key – the ability to communicate what my priorities are to both my family at home and my work “family” helps me achieve a balance.

Your favorite trick for unwinding?

Cooking, reading and hanging out with my family. We love skiing, hiking and exploring the Rockies.
