Salata’s influence is evident. A 15-year veteran of Harpo Studios, she held positions with increasing levels of responsibility, and ultimately served as executive producer of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” from 2006 through its finale in 2011. In her role at OWN, Salata continues to inspire with programming such as “Oprah’s Lifeclass,” which reaches back through the 25-year history of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to teach the lessons that matter most to Winfrey. “My work life is enormously blessed in that Oprah has been and continues to be an invaluable daily mentor for me,” Salata says. “What makes it the most special and unique relationship is that her sharing of self, experience, intuition and wisdom has transformed and changed everything in my life, not just my career.”
