King recently oversaw the reorganization of the SportsCenter hierarchy, involving the assignment desk and news editors. When domestic violence became one of 2015’s major issues, he gave on-air prominence to Kate Fagan, Jane McManus, Jemele Hill and Sarah Spain. Quoting former ESPN president George Bodenheimer, King says, “There’s a lot of things in business you cannot control, but one that you can control is your culture.”
