The highest-ranking female executive at Fox Network Groups, Tuzon oversees all legal practices for Fox Broadcasting Co. and 43 national and regional cable programming services. She reviews thousands of complex deals and contracts each year, and recently navigated Fox Networks’ national accounts team through its retrans negotiations with Time Warner, Cablevision and DISH. The immediate past president of the board of directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and member of WICT, Tuzon believes cable provides a wealth of diverse perspectives to its viewers. “At Fox, in the last year we have fully committed to bringing some of our international programming and networks to the U.S. and adding new Spanish-language networks such as Utilisima and National Geographic’s Mundo,” she says. If she weren’t in cable, Tuzon would “spend more time on a bike, in the mountains, with my family. But I would miss all the fun we have here every day!”
