Gay’s got the rhythm. He was instrumental in BET’s purchase of the “Soul Train” brand, and he’s headed up the BET Experience music festival, which has seen attendance rise by 10 percent during his tenure. He’ll continue to build on experiential activations for the BET brand, including building out a Soul Train weekend in Vegas and a Broadway play. Outside of the office, Gay is active with the Annenberg Center Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania, the New York Urban League, The Jack and Jill Foundation, the New York Advisory Board of The Posse Foundation and The Westchester Clubmen. And he’s a father of triplets!
