With more than three decades of industry experience, Martinez leads all employees in embracing change. Last year, the Houston region experienced the highest revenue and cash flow growth and set a record for customer growth of positive video subscribers. These days, the region has the highest participation rate in the country in the company’s annual employee survey, an increase of 6.5% from the previous year. “Be better than yesterday,” Martinez suggests.

There are three types of people in this world: ones that make things happen; ones that watch things happen; and ones that wonder what happened.

How do you define success?

Be better than yesterday. Be better than last week. Be better than last year. It’s about delivering an experience customers, employees and the community love and trust.
